As noted, the heart of any load switch is the main power FET. NXP builds devices to suit a wide range of power needs, from 0.9 volts to 17.5 volts operation and 0.5 to 3 amps of current. In addition, some devices have an overvoltage tolerance on the input side as high as 30 volts.
