To solve the engineer’s challenge to develop a stable local oscillator within a fast settling time, NXP developed the TFF1003 LO generator with integrated PLL and VCO operating between 12.8 GHz and 13.05 GHz. The TFF1003 is designed for Ku-band Block-Up converters used in VSAT. This high performance IC is part of a family of NXP PLLs with integrated VCO, for applications up to 15 GHz, delivering excellent RF performance while simultaneously dissipating the lowest DC power, in a small total solution footprint. The level of integration offered by this product family reduces design time, enabling the fastest time-to-market.
