Panasonic's high-capacity cut-off relays utilize a hydrogen capsule contact structure
Panasonic's EV series automotive relays offer a DC load rating range of 10 A at 450 VDC to 300 A at 450 VDC in an incredibly small and lightweight design. High contact reliability is achieved by sealing the contacts in hydrogen gas, preventing contact oxidation and maintaining a dust-proof and waterproof environment.
The AEVG16012 can withstand a short-circuit current rating of up to 4,500 A and has a DC load rating of 60 A 450 VDC. The EV series automotive relays are suitable for applications including electric vehicles, DC charging stations, and other high-voltage DC applications such as hybrid construction equipment.

- Output load at the contacts connects without polarization allowing for high freedom of design and no risk of reversing the connection
