SL POWER / Advanced Energy's MB60 product family reliably and efficiently provides up to 60 W of power in a compact 2” x 3” x 1” package. This demonstrates exceptional power density that is 25% higher than other 2 x 3 products on the market.
Fully compliant with the applicable safety and EMC standards, these models enable seamless integration into many medical applications
including patient monitoring, surgical and home healthcare equipment. All six models are CE marked to the low voltage directive and approved
to IEC60601-1 3rd edition medical standards with 2 x MOPP.
The MB60 is able to operate through a wide temperature range of -10°C to +80°C and does not require a heating element to turn on at -40°C.
This greatly increases efficiency and significantly lowers cost. In addition, these models deliver 40 W at +70°C, which demonstrates an
exceptional derating trend.

Value Proposition
- To deliver 40 W at 70°C, most system require an SOW power supply in a bigger size and higher cost
- Possible reduction in size by 25% for end-application. A great marketing advantage over competition
- Requiring a heating element can be costly and requires wasted space. Using the MB60, the end-application can save money and space
- On the other extreme temperature range, it is the -40°C start up feature of the MB60 than can save $2 to $10 in reduction of a heating element. This is not just a cost savings, it is also an overall increase of efficiency for end-application
- One of the most significant advantage of MB60 is that it can delivery 40 W power at 70°C
- SL POWER / Advanced Energy local technical support capabilities provide real time help in solving potential design problems which could otherwise cause revenue loss due to delays in end product introduction
- Extensive global presence can support user's product needs as they migrate from development to production, frequently in multiple locations around the world
