Microchip Technology’s ATmega4809 family combines a 20 MHz AVR core with intelligent hardware peripherals to enhance the capabilities and responsiveness of real-time control systems. The core independent peripherals are configurable to execute tasks in hardware, offering improved determinism and offloading tasks from the MCU core, and the 6-channel event system provides for independent, predictable communication between peripherals. For sensing and other analog functions, the MCU integrates a 10-bit ADC, an analog comparator with a scalable reference input, and a configurable, internally generated reference voltage. The microcontrollers offer up to 48 KB of flash, 6 KB or SRAM, and 41 GPIOs, and support operation from a 1.8 V to 5.5 V supply.
