Create your modified enclosure online with these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Select stock enclosure.
  • Step 2: Upload drawing, make modification selections, add to cart, and check out.
  • Step 3: Manufacturer sends approval drawing through myDK.
  • Step 4: Once approved sample sent within two weeks.
  • Step 5: Manufacturer quotes production schedule and continues to production when approved.

We only offer customization on standard off the shelf enclosures.

No, enclosures do not need to be in stock at DigiKey. Hammond uses their factory inventory to modify the enclosures.

Yes, the current min order is 25 pieces of any single enclosure.

From the order submission and approval of the drawling the shipment of the sample is on average delivered within 2 weeks. From approval of the sample, the remaining balance will be quoted a production timeline to be approved by you for a final delivery date.

Yes, as a registered user you may reorder your project by locating your original order in myDK and clicking the reorder link

Yes, your designs are under a blanket NDA for both DigiKey and Hammond.

Not through the configurator at this time.

Modification costs are dependent on the total number of modifications made.

Production of both the sample and the final product are modified in Guelph, Ontario Canada. They are transported by Hammond to Cheektowaga, New York, to be drop-shipped to the customer’s address from this location.

The enclosures are shipped ground directly from Hammond Manufacturing via UPS. For large and oversized orders FedEX or A. Duie Pyle may be used.
