Image of Chemi-Con's GPD Series - Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors Chemi-Con's GPD series lead-type aluminum electrolytic capacitors are suitable for power supplies used in high-temperature environments, such as electric power steering (EPS) devices and injection equipment installed in automobiles. While the GPA series (125°C products) that are currently being supplied to the market have received high praise in the automotive electronics field, the GPD series was developed and mass-produced in order to meet further needs of higher temperatures and capacitances.

The GPD series has 30% to 60% higher ripple performance and temperature operation compared to the GPA series by using an originally-developed thermally-stable electrolyte and rubber bung with high durability. In addition, the series guarantees high heat resistance at 150°C. The GPD series will contribute to size reduction and longer life of electrical circuits.
