xG28S-EK2705A Development and Evaluation Kit

The xG28S-EK2705A Explorer Kit is a compact, cost-effective development and evaluation platform designed by Silicon Labs for the EFR32SG28 dual-band wireless system on chip (SoC). Its primary purpose is to enable rapid prototyping and demonstration of IoT applications that connect to Amazon Sidewalk, a low-bandwidth, long-range wireless network developed by Amazon. The board comes preprogrammed with an out of the box application that is ready to connect to the Amazon Sidewalk network, enabling demonstration of uplink and downlink over the Amazon Sidewalk network between the end device and the cloud.

Additional Amazon Sidewalk tools include SoC and Pro Kit. The EFR32SG28 secure, low-power, dual-band SoC for Amazon Sidewalk devices supports Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) and sub-GHz FSK. It provides reliable connectivity in the home using Bluetooth LE and extends it beyond the front door using sub-GHz FSK to cover detached buildings, pools, and spas. The KG100S-PK6130A Pro Kit from Silicon Labs is designed to support the development of wireless IoT devices, offering compatibility with Bluetooth, FSK, and CSS protocols. The kit is built around the KG100S module and is intended for developers looking to create scalable, high-volume IoT applications for Amazon Sidewalk.
