To support development with this SoC, the xG29-PK6034A Pro Kit provides a comprehensive platform that includes a mainboard and a +8 dBm radio board. This kit allows developers to prototype and test wireless applications using Bluetooth LE, Zigbee®, and proprietary protocols. It includes debugging tools, a display, sensors, and expansion headers, making it suitable for both early-stage development and performance evaluation of wireless IoT solutions.
The additional radio boards xG29-RB4412A (+8 dBm buck), xG29-RB4413A (+6 dBm boost), and BG29-RB4420A (+4 dBm boost WLCSP) offer different configurations of the EFR32xG29 SoC to match specific design needs. These boards are designed to work with the same mainboard as the Pro Kit and provide reference designs for integration into custom hardware. This modular approach allows developers to test various power and form factor options, accelerating the path from prototype to production for a wide range of wireless IoT applications.
