BD831 Switching Regulators

With built-in FETs, ROHM’s BD831 family of step-down switching regulators features a wide input voltage range and high operating frequency. High efficiency is achieved through utilization of a proprietary pulse skip control system and synchronous rectifier circuit. Additional advantages include integrated gain and phase compensation and multiple protection circuits.

The BD831 family’s high level of component integration allows for easy production of small power supplies. In addition, the high frequency operation of 1.0 MHz or 1.5 MHz allows for the use of smaller external inductors or capacitors. Capable of withstanding 1.2 A/15 V operation, these devices incorporate a Pch/Nch synchronous rectification switch.
