The lineup supports supply voltages from 4.5 V to 60 V and drives three half-bridges using external N-channel MOSFETs.

BD67871MWV-Z features the innovative ROHM TriC3™ active gate drive technology, which intelligently senses MOSFET operating conditions and adjusts gate current in real time to improve EMI performance, reduce heat generation, and enhance overall system efficiency. All devices support ultra-low standby current, integrated protection functions, and bootstrap-based gate drive architecture.

Evaluation boards for each device include all required components such as capacitors, resistors, switches, pins, and sockets to simplify testing and prototyping.

BD67871MWV-Z – Three-Phase Gate Driver with TriC3™ Technology

BD67871MWV-Z integrates TriC3, an active gate drive technology that monitors MOSFET voltages and dynamically adjusts gate drive current to reduce EMI, minimize heat, and enhance switching efficiency. Designed for brushless DC motor control up to 60 V, it supports direct constant-current gate drive, synchronous rectification during bootstrap charging, 100 percent duty cycle operation, and high-impedance state via trickle-charge pumping. It includes UART configurability, low standby current, and extensive protection features.

BD67870MWV-Z – General-Purpose Three-Phase Gate Driver

BD67870MWV-Z is designed for three-phase brushless DC motor control using six external N-channel MOSFETs up to 60 V. It supports wide-voltage operation, direct PWM input, adjustable dead time through an external resistor, ultra-low sleep current, and integrated protection circuits. The architecture enables efficient switching and 100 percent duty cycle capability.

BD67872MWV-Z – Three-Phase Gate Driver with 3x PWM Mode

BD67872MWV-Z offers performance similar to BD67870MWV-Z and supports 3x PWM input logic. It features a wide 4.5 V to 60 V input voltage range, bootstrap-based gate driver operation, adjustable dead time, and low sleep current. Enhanced protection includes latched VREG UVLO and input VCC UVLO.
