RTC2 Series, 2 W DC-DC Converters

RECOM´s 2 W RTC2 series modules come in a six-pin, SMD, open-frame package with a footprint of less than 1/3 of a square inch

Image of RECOM's RTC2 Series, 2 W DC/DC ConvertersRECOM's DC/DC converter's 2:1 input voltage ranges of 4.5 to 9 VDC or 18 to 36 VDC can handle up to 15 VDC and 50 VDC respectively for up to 100 ms. The converters are insulated up to 3 kVDC / 1 s and reach efficiencies over 80%.

The 5 V output versions will be the first to be launched on the market with additional outputs to be released at a later date. The modules are regulated at ±2% accuracy with a tight line regulation of ±0.5% and load regulation of ±0.5%. They are short-circuit protected and operate under natural convection at a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (24 V version) without derating.

These modules comply with the RoHS guideline and are certified according to IEC/EN 62368-1 and EN 55022/24. The MTBF is more than 2,000 x 10³ hours at 25°C according to MIL-HDBK 217F. The converters come with a three-year guarantee.
