CM4Stack Development Kit

M5Stack’s CM4Stack is an all-in-one expandable development module based on the CM4 boards from Raspberry Pi. The CM4104032 Raspberry Pi CM4 module adds Wi-Fi connectivity with 4 GB of memory and 32 GB of eMMC. To complement this board, M5Stack has built this module with a 2.0” IPS-LCD capacitive touch screen which has a resolution of 320 x 240. There are also two 3.2 USB A ports, a USB-C 2.0 port that supports OTG and host power supply, an HDMI port for connecting to an external display, a 1 Gigabit Ethernet Interface (RJ45), one DC power input port (12 V at 3 A), and two HY2.0-4P expansion ports (I²C and UART). The board is also equipped with an AW88298 16-bit I²S amplifier along with a 2 W speaker, an ATECC608B security encryption chip, and a BM8563 RTC. To cool the device there is a built-in active cooling fan and an aluminum heat sink frame. The CM4Stack also supports DIN-rail or wall mounting, with screw holes for mounting any other configurations the user can come up with. The CM4Stack is designed with industrial automation, smart homes, and IoT applications in mind.

Along with the CM4Stack module, the kit includes: a 12 V 3 A power adapter, a 2 mm hex key, a snap base, a screw holder, and an instruction manual. All of these features are packaged into a 2.32” x 1.73” x 1.81” (59 mm x 44 mm x 46 mm) package that should fit a number of the potential applications users may have..
