High ESD Discharge AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diode Protection - SP12xx Series
Littelfuse's SP1212/SP1220 discrete unidirectional TVS diodes provide high ESD without performance degradation for electronic equipment
Littelfuse's SP1212 and SP1220 discrete unidirectional TVS diodes provide a high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection level of ±30 kV (both contact and air discharge as defined in IEC 61000-4-2) without performance degradation for electronic equipment. The SP1212 TVS can safely dissipate 12 A and the SP1220 can dissipate 20 A, each during an 8/20 µSec surge event, as defined in IEC 61000-4-5 2nd Edition standard. The SP12xx series are automotive AEC-Q101 qualified and provide protection of test equipment, instrumentation, point-of-sale terminals, and medical equipment. Applications include areas where users come in contact with switch or button interfaces.
