                    KEMET introduces their paper capacitors for low frequency applications
    

Image of KEMET's Paper Capacitors KEMET’s class X and class Y paper capacitors have temperature ratings ranging from 85ºC up to 115ºC. Capacitance values range from 0.001 - 0.6 µF with a voltage range of 250 V_AC to 660 V_AC dependent upon class. Also among KEMET’s paper portfolio are radial metallized impregnated paper capacitors rated up to 85ºC (DC) and 100ºC (DC) with a capacitance value range of 0.1 µF - 1 µF and a voltage range of 250 V_DCto 1,000 V_DC. Impregnated paper capacitors have a high dielectric constant excellent self-healing capabilities, and transient handling capability among other features. Paper capacitors also perform very well in mains-connected applications and other low frequency applications.
