PKE5000 Encapsulated DC/DC Converters for Industrial Applications

Flex Power Modules' PKE5000 series of DC/DC power converter modules are intended for the industrial, test equipment, and telecom sectors. These modules are provided in sealed and encapsulated packaging to ensure they will work reliably when subjected to dust, moisture, severe vibration, and other harsh conditions.

PKE5000 series provides highly reliable, high-performance, and rugged DC/DC solutions in the industry-standard 1 in. x 1 in. form factor, running from 24 V or 48 V nominal inputs. Delivering up to 30 W of output power at up to 92% efficiency, this series also offers mean time between failures (MTBF) of up to 5 million hours and input-to-output isolation of 1500 V_DC. The galvanically isolated devices also meet the latest IEC/EN/UL62368-1 safety standards. The input voltage range is 18 V to 75 V, and output range varies by product from 3.3 V to 54 V.

Efficiency is high; typically 92.6% at half load (12 V_IN, 5 V_OUT). These converters have an input voltage range of 7.5 V to 14 V and an output range of 0.6 V to 5 V. The BMR469 meets safety requirements according to IEC/EN/UL 6236.
