CM0 NANO Single-Board Computer

EDATEC SBCs are built on the Raspberry Pi CM0, merging ultra-low development thresholds, industrial robustness, and flexible functionality

Image of EDATEC CM0 NANO Single-Board ComputerThe EDATEC CM0 NANO makes history as the first industrial-grade single-board computer (SBC) built on Raspberry Pi CM0, merging ultra-low development thresholds, industrial robustness, and flexible functionality to redefine value for industrial and maker communities. At its core, this groundbreaking SBC features a 1 GHz quad-core 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor and VideoCore® IV GPU, paired with 512 MB LPDDR2 memory and optional 8 GB/16 GB eMMC storage, delivering balanced computing and graphics performance (including 1080p30 H.264 encode/decode and OpenGL ES support) for lightweight embedded tasks, without unnecessary complexity. What sets it apart is its industrial-grade enhancement: a -20°C to +60°C operating temperature range, stamp-hole soldering (eliminating vibration/dust-induced contact failures), built-in RTC (when supplied with a CR2032 battery for backup), and hardware watchdog ensuring 24/7 stability in harsh environments like factories or outdoor sites, while a low-power design keeps consumption low for sustained use.

This SBC is packed with versatile interfaces—HDMI, 2x USB 2.0, 100M Ethernet, optional 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi®/Bluetooth® 4.2, and MIPI DSI/CSI—plus a Raspberry Pi 40-pin standard GPIO header that enables plug-and-play compatibility with the entire Raspberry Pi HAT ecosystem, slashing prototype development time. Fully integrated with Raspberry Pi’s software and hardware ecosystem, the CM0 NANO runs official Raspberry Pi OS and reuses thousands of open-source tools (Python libraries, graphical programming tools) and projects, allowing developers of all skill levels to get started quickly without custom adaptations. Whether for mass-produced industrial applications or rapid maker prototyping, this first-of-its-kind SBC delivers the perfect balance of reliability, usability, and cost-efficiency.
