KAD Series Multiple Position DIP Switches

E-Switch’s KAD series multiple position DIP switches feature a tri-state option, which offers many more code options than binary DIP switches. Making these switches even more versatile are multiple positions (4, 5, 8, 9, or 10 positions) with either straight pin (through-hole) or gullwing (SMT) termination. The electrical rating is 100 mA at 50 V_DC (non-switching), 25 mA at 24 V_DC (switching) with SPDT contact arrangement for each position, and 2,000 cycle rating for each circuit. Switches are supplied with all poles in the OFF position.

The KAD DIP series provides a low profile of 3.70 mm (H) x 7.00 mm (L) x 7.62 mm to 22.86 mm (W), depending on the number of positions. Available packaging includes tube or tape-and-reel for automated assembly and the option of top tape seal with recessed actuator, making the KAD DIP series versatile to meet manufacturing requirements. This series provides 0.8 mm travel in each direction, gold contacts with an operating temperature of -20°C to +85°C, and a storage temperature of -40°C to +85°C.
