DCmind Brushless SMi21 DC Motors with CANopen

Brushless DC motors incorporating CANopen technology allow users to network several motors, and they are now available from Crouzet. SMi21 CANopen DCmind motors are brushless DC motors with a control circuit board integrated in the motor.

Coordinate and synchronize every movement with high accuracy. Proven since 1980, the CANopen system ensures high reliability of data transmission through its error detection system.

SMi21 CANopen DCmind brushless motors are intelligent servomotors for speed, position, and torque control applications. They can be configured via a human-machine interface (HMI) with CANopen or USB communication bus. They are equipped with three industrial connectors: one for power, one for the control signals, and one for the CANopen communication.
