Image of Bourns' G.Fast CPE Protection PortNote® Solution Bourns' G.Fast standard uses frequencies as high as 106 MHz to provide data rates up to 1 Gbps simultaneously in both the upstream and downstream directions. This solution protects these ports against lightning surge, power induction, AC-power contact threats, and it provides protection for the CPE side of G.Fast signal without impairing the signal reliability. This protection provides low off-state capacitance and improves G.Fast surge resistibility.
