APAMBJ-135 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® Whip Antenna

Abracon LLC’s APAMBJ-135 provides a low-cost, easy-to-install stubby whip antenna solution. It is fitted with a male SMA-J3 connector making it compatible with a wide range of Wi-Fi routers and terminals. This stubby antenna whip element is matched to 50 ohms and offers dual Wi-Fi bands simultaneously covering the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. This is ideal for dual-band routers offering IEEE-802-11ac for wideband response.

The two plots above show the S11 and VSWR responses for the APAMBJ-135, offering better than -15dBi and 1.5:1 VSWR over the two bands. The antenna offers 0dBi gain at 2.4 GHz and 2dBi gain at 5 GHz.

The antenna is compact only 55.2 mm x Ø 9.5 mm; lightweight, weighing only 7.2 g; and is covered in a black TPE material. This allows the antenna to be used discreetly on 802.11ac routers that would normally have 3 antennas in total (one for 2.4 GHz and two for 5 GHz using MIMO).
