The GPH family offers the speed and ease assembly found in 3M VHB tape, even in applications involving high operating temperatures (long term resistance 300°F). The tape is available in three different thicknesses: 0.6 mm, 1.1 mm, and 1.6 mm (25 mils, 45 mils, and 62 mils). The capability to bond to a variety of substrates makes 3M VHB tapes GPH series a good fit for multi-material bonding those substrates that have high or medium surface energy, including many metals, such as stainless steel, and plastics, such as polyamide, PMMA, and ABS. The tape works for applications such as metalworking, signage, applications, and specialty vehicles.
