Honeywell presents their MPR series of compact, highly accurate, and calibrated and compensated board-mount pressure sensors. This 5 millimeter by 5 millimeter pressure sensor is a very small piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor which offers an I2C or SPI- compatible output for reading pressure over the specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range. It is calibrated and compensated over a specific temperature range for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an on-board ASIC. This device is designed to meet the requirements of a variety of applications, including: higher-volume medical devices such as airflow monitors, breast pumps, and CPAP water tanks; industrial systems like gas and water meters, and air braking systems; and consumer applications including humidifiers, coffee machines, dishwashers.
