ARM Embedded Systems Education Kit

ARM® University Program Embedded Systems Education Kit with
NXP-Embedded Artists LPC4088 Hardware supplied by DigiKey.

The ARM University Program has teamed up with DigiKey to ship the complete ARM Embedded Systems Education Kit. The kit comprises an ARM Cortex®-M4 processor-based LPC4088 QuickStart Board and LPC4088 Experiment Base Board from Embedded Artists and NXP. It also contains various other components (listed below) to complete four embedded system courses associated with the kit, namely:

  • Efficient Embedded Systems Design and Programming
  • Rapid Embedded System Design and Programming using the high-level ARM mbed™ API
  • Operating System Design using the royalty-free ARM Keil RTX RTOS
  • Digital Signal Processing

Academics who want to adopt the kit in their teaching can request a sample donation from the ARM University Program website including full teaching materials.

The LPC4088 Experiment Base Board makes it possible to get up-and-running quickly with the LPC4088 QuickStart Board. This base board adds several expansion connectors to the LPC4088 QuickStart Board and makes it especially easy to connect displays to the board.

LPC4088 QUICKSTART BOARD

The LPC4088 QuickStart Board is an easy to use ARM Cortex-M4 rapid prototyping board in a standard through hole DIP package (44-pin), targeted at high-performance as well as low-power applications. Communication interfaces, large on-board memories and LCD controller enables graphical user interface applications.
