In summary, BP527x series products are offered in a SIP3/TO-3P package with a 2.54mm pin pitch identical to the industry standard TO220. These modules are able to achieve efficiencies over 90% and provide stable operation even under light load conditions. In addition, pin orientation and spacing, combined with full integration, make BP527x modules ideal replacements for linear regulator ICs, such as the industry standard 78xx series. Two types are available in the BP527x series; the base solution BP5275 series uses highly efficient synchronous rectification power conversion, and the BP5277 series modules are chopper type DC/DC converters which can accept higher input voltages.
