TC78H670FTG Stepper Motor Driver

The TC78H670FTG is part of Toshiba’s series of low-voltage compact stepper motor drivers. Tiny but very capable and flexible the TC78H670FTG is suitable for 1 cell to 4 cell batteries or 12 V powered industrial, consumer, and healthcare devices that need high integration. Simple yet with precise capabilities, this part can operate from 2.5 V to 16 V with 2.0 A current handling capabilities. It features 128-step resolution that offers ultra-precision control without complex closed-loop design. The part also features an advanced current detection system (ACDS) that eliminates the need of sense resistor for current protection, thus saving cost and board space. TC78H670FTG provides flexibility in controlling speed and direction in either simple clock input or host supported serial interface. The part is housed in a compact and thermally efficient QFN16 3 mm x 3 mm package.
