Raspberry Pi Build HAT

The Raspberry Pi Build HAT was developed to fit any 40-pin GPIO header and connect to up to four LEGO® Technic™ motors and sensors from the LEGO Education SPIKE™ system. The available sensors include a distance sensor, a color sensor, and a force sensor. The LEGO Technic motors are angular and come in various sizes, and include integrated encoders that can be programmed to record their position. With this system, the possibilities are endless.

With the ability to connect to a 40-pin GPIO header, this product fits all Raspberry Pi boards as well as the Pi400 with the addition of a ribbon cable or other extension device. Connected LEGO Technic devices can easily be controlled in Python, alongside standard Raspberry Pi accessories such as the camera module.

The Raspberry Pi Build HAT Power supply, which is available separately, is designed to have enough power to power the Build HAT, Raspberry Pi board, and all connected LEGO Technic devices.
