IoT Starter Kit

Particle's IoT starter kit is designed to teach users how to build IoT solutions using Particle's hardware and software. This kit includes tutorials, documentation, and everything needed to build an IoT project. The starter kit is built around the Particle Argon Wi-Fi development board. Connect the Argon to a home network and use the included sensors to monitor the surrounding conditions.

The kit includes eight Grove modules that feature their own sensory or informational ability. These modules include a button, a rotary encoder, an ultrasonic range finder, a temperature and humidity sensor, a light sensor, an RGB LED, a buzzer, and a four-digit display. A soldering iron is not required with this kit. Simply attach the included Grove adapter to the Particle Argon and use the provided wires to connect it to the desired modules.

Once the physical build is complete, use the Particle software tools including Web IDE and Console to simplify the code developing process for the project. These tools will teach users how to write code that monitors real-time sensor measurements, how to send the firmware code to the Argon over-the-air (OTA), and how to quickly add new features to an existing project by simply changing a few lines of code.
