KMS Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Chemi-Con has added 500 V type to the lineup of KMS series, snap-in type aluminum electrolytic capacitors optimal for use in PV power conditioners, switching power supplies, and general use inverters. Development of PV related products have been advancing as one of the efforts toward achieving a low carbon society. Within such movements, there is an increasing need for high voltage type aluminum electrolytic capacitors for two reasons. These include the fact that high output voltage solar cells are used in the European market, which is the largest market in the world, and to make the system more energy efficient, the number of panels used for serial connection is increasing to achieve higher voltage. The newly added 500 V type KMS series will meet the growing need for high voltage capacitors to be used in power conditioners.
