Edison Intel® Edison Atom™ MPU Atom™ Embedded Evaluation Board

Recommended for inventors, engineers and designers with minimal to high skills in electronics, the Intel Edison development platform enables rapid prototyping of wearable and IoT products. Digi-Key offers the standalone module, a breakout kit and an Arduino version of the Intel Edison to fit your project needs and experience level.

  • Uses a 22 nm Intel® SoC that includes a dual-core, dual-threaded Intel® Atom™ CPU at 500 MHz and a 32-bit Intel® Quark™ microcontroller at 100 MHz. It supports 40 GPIOs and includes 1 GB LPDDR3, 4 GB EMMC, and dual-band Wi-Fi and BLE on a module slightly larger than a postage stamp.
  • The Intel Edison module will initially support development with Arduino and C/C++, followed by Node.JS, Python, RTOS, and Visual Programming support in the near future.
  • It includes a device-to-device and device-to-cloud connectivity framework to enable cross-device communication and a cloud-based, multitenant, time-series analytics service.

Raspberry Pi RASPBERRY PI 3

Wandboard Pico Starter Kits and Board ARM PICO Kits

Wandboard starter kits enable faster development of secure connected devices for the Android Internet of Things (IoT). Offering both local and cloud connectivity over multiple wireless protocols by using lightweight embedded OS that includes Weave, a communication protocol. Android Things delivers security at the scale you need it via Google-managed updates and verified boot. Keeping unit costs low and shortening time to market, Android Things Wandboard developed the PICO-IMX6UL-KIT by working closely with Google and NXP to help engineers and makers with a predictable development track.
